Miller Hill Mall Cupcake Walk Returns the Duluth Women’s Expo for 2023
They say “girls just wanna have fun” and they certainly will during the Duluth Women’s Expo on February 25th, 2023 at the DECC.
“We’ve been working hard to revamp our events after the pandemic, expanding opportunities for exhibitors and creating more fun reasons for attendees to come,” shared Tracy Lundeen, Owner of Lundeen Productions. “Our Women’s Expo is a winter tradition for the Northland – a great girl’s day out with exhibitors, seminars, and music, but the cherry on top is promotions with our vendors and sponsors that add extra fun to the day. The Cupcake Walk with the Miller Hill Mall is one of those special features.”
The Miller Hill Mall teams up with several mall tenants to provide dozens of prizes to be given away at the show, each with a cupcake from Something Sweet by Maddie Lu, a bakery located near the food court in the mall.
“The promotion is a twist on the old-fashioned cakewalk,” explained Angie Simonson, Lundeen Productions Marketing Director, “we place numbered decals on the floor throughout the exhibit hall, and when that number is called, the first person on it wins one of the mall’s great prizes and an incredible cupcake from Something Sweet by Maddie Lu. This will be the second year for this promotion at the Women’s Expo. Last year it was amazing to watch women strategize and get competitive when it came to finding and getting on the winning number. It was a great opportunity for everyone to laugh and have fun. We’re thrilled the Miller Hill Mall is on board and we’re looking forward to doing the promotion again.”
This year’s Duluth Women’s Expo takes place at the DECC on February 25th from 9am – 4pm, free tickets will be available soon at area Kwik Trip stores. VIP tickets are available for $29 online at duluthwomensexpo.com
“Our focus this year is on making sure women leave the show having had a great day and feeling inspired,” VP of Lundeen Productions, Kynze Lundeen said. “Ladies, save the date and bring your friends, you don’t want to miss the Duluth Women’s Expo!”
